WILLEMSTAD - April 17, 2023 - After a successful year, where Curaçao positioned itself among the top 5 most beautiful and talented women in the universe, the Curaçao Beauty Pageant Committee presented the 7 candidates for the Miss Curaçao 2023 pageant in the Belle Alliance room at the Avila Beach Hotel.
It was a pleasant evening in the presence of a select group, including family, sponsors, and media, inspired by the 60s. As is known, the Miss Universe organization has a completely new management, which has adapted rules to broaden and promote the inclusion of more diverse women as participants. Among other things, now married women, pregnant women, women with children and transgender women can also participate. For Curaçao, this is also a novelty, as this year there is a mother participating for the first time in the history of the Miss Curaçao pageant.
The 7 participants for Miss Curaçao 2023 are Bianty Gomperts, Kimberly Becker, Nethania Hill, Kimberly Fernandes, Julia Schreiber, Kim Rossen, Thianny Braafhart.
Immediately, preparation work began to train these candidates in the next 40 days that lie ahead. Preparation includes sessions on catwalk and stage mastery, general knowledge and tourism, communication, protocol, and etiquette, and much more.
