Services at Samenlevingsloket in Sambil Temporarily by Appointment Only

| By Press release February 26, 2026

WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Governance, Planning and Public Service has announced a temporary adjustment to the operations of the Vergunningenloket, affecting the Samenlevingsloket located at Sambil. From March 2 through May 1, 2026, all services at this location will be provided exclusively by appointment, with walk-in visits temporarily suspended.

According to the ministry, the measure is necessary due to limited space at the Samenlevingsloket in Sambil, which makes it impractical to accommodate large numbers of visitors in the waiting area. Authorities say the temporary arrangement is intended to ensure orderly service delivery and public safety during this period.

Residents who require services are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance via the government’s digital platforms, either through loketdigital.gobiernu.cw or sita.gobiernu.cw.

During the appointment-only period, several permit-related services will remain available at the Samenlevingsloket in Sambil. These include applications for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), peddler permits, vending location permits, establishment permits, and hospitality permits.

The Samenlevingsloket is located at Sambil, Unit L-21, near the Cas Abou entrance. Adjusted opening hours apply, with services available from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Vergunningenloket at its Saliña 127 Eurobuilding location, next to Subway, remains accessible through various communication channels. The office can be reached by telephone at 433-3123, via WhatsApp at 433-3127, and through its social media platforms on Facebook under “Lokèt di Pèrmit” and Instagram under “loket.di.permit.” Digital services continue to be available through loketdigital.gobiernu.cw. Opening hours at the Saliña location remain unchanged, with service from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The ministry thanked the public for its understanding and cooperation during the temporary adjustment period.
