WILLEMSTAD – Waste management company Selikor has announced adjustments to its garbage collection schedule after failing to complete all residential routes last week. As a result, many households have been left with overflowing bins for an extended period.
This week, Selikor aims to minimize delays and complete all pending collections, though not on the usual pickup days. Today and Friday, the company will cover the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday routes, prioritizing neighborhoods that were skipped last week.
Selikor stated that it is working to ensure that all areas receive service, and if necessary, garbage collection will continue through the weekend.
Residents are advised to place their trash bins outside between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM. The company apologized for any inconvenience caused by the delays and thanked the public for their patience.
