WILLEMSTAD - Prisoners in the SDKK prison will receive their meals from the St Elisabeth Hospital (Sehos) for the time being. The Sehos management has honored a request from the prison warden and the guards.

The Inspectorate closed the prison’s kitchen last week because of a lack of hygiene. Because the warden does not want to give the prisoners water and bread, he has requested assistance from the hospital through the ministry of health. The meals will be delivered based on cost price.

This week’s menu includes chicken, pasta and on Friday fish.
