Secretaries-General Council Pays Courtesy Visit to the Governor

WILLEMSTAD – On Thursday, February 5, 2026, the SG-Beraad, the consultative body of the Secretaries-General of all ministries of Curaçao, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Lucille George-Wout.

During the meeting, the Governor was briefed on the key challenges facing the ministries in achieving the government’s policy objectives. Discussions also focused on the ongoing development and strengthening of the civil service organizations, as well as the manner in which the various ministries collaborate to realize the goals set by the government.

The visit provided an opportunity for dialogue on inter-ministerial coordination, administrative efficiency, and the strategic priorities guiding public sector operations.

Representing the SG-Beraad were Acting Secretary-General of General Affairs (AZ) Djurick Comenentia; Acting Secretary-General of Governance, Planning and Service Delivery (BPD) Nadya Nercisio; Acting Secretary-General of Economic Development (EO) Luelo Girigorie; Acting Secretary-General of Finance (FIN) Lysette Melfor; Secretary-General of Health, Environment and Nature (GMN) Sharlon Melfor; Deputy Acting Secretary-General of Justice (JUS) Luz Celeste-Johannes; Acting Secretary-General of Education, Science, Culture & Sport (OWCS) Susan Larmonie; Acting Secretary-General of Social Development, Labor & Welfare (SOAW) Glenda Anicienta; Secretary-General of Traffic, Transport & Urban Planning (VVRP) Dwigno Puriel; and SG-Beraad Secretary Imogène Rosario.

The SG-Beraad serves as the highest administrative coordination platform within the civil service, ensuring alignment and cooperation across all ministries in support of effective governance.
