WILLEMSTAD - Rudy Dovale died this weekend. The War Veteran was born in Brooklyn, New York and served in the US Army during the Second World War.

For that he received the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star and the French Legion of Honor award. After the war he came to Curaçao and made a career in the tourism industry. Rudy Dovale was 97 years old.
