WILLEMSTAD – Following a successful first edition of Global Money Week in Curaçao in 2024, the event returns with great enthusiasm for 2025! Global Money Week is an international awareness campaign organized annually by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). This year, the event will take place from Monday, March 17, to Thursday, March 20, 2025 (March 21 is excluded due to the elections) and will once again be hosted by Pichiri - Sabí ku Sèn, a local organization dedicated to improving financial literacy in the community.

Skol di Plaka Sessions: Free Workshops for Students
This year’s focus remains on the importance of financial education for young people. Through engaging and interactive lessons led by Pichiri mentors, students will learn how to manage money wisely and make better financial decisions in a fun and practical way. These lessons are specifically designed for upper secondary school students. The event’s motto continues to be: Learn. Save. Earn.

Register Your Class!
Each session lasts 45 minutes during a school period. To ensure as many schools as possible can participate, each class can register for one session. Schools can register multiple classes, and the organizers will accommodate as many participants as possible. If demand exceeds the available number of mentors, priority will be given to ensuring that every school has the opportunity to participate.
