WILLEMSTAD - Kolegio Alejandro Paula (KAP) has received new school books. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports (OWCS) visited the school to officially hand over the books.
The books are part of the ‘Enseñansa Liber’ (free education) plan and are ready to be distributed to students before the start of the new school year. Other schools in primary, secondary, and vocational education have also received their books.
Under the ‘Enseñansa Liber Kòrsou’ plan, Sige is responsible for inventorying and distributing the books. "This year, close collaboration ensured that the books could be removed from the containers and distributed to the schools more quickly," stated the OWCS ministry.
The ceremony was originally scheduled for last week but was postponed due to weather and logistical reasons.
