WILLEMSTAD – Aqualectra has announced the appointment of Ing. Rudolf Garmes as the company’s new Chief Technical Officer (CTO) following the formal approval by the Shareholder based on the nomination of the Supervisory Board.

With nearly two decades of experience at Aqualectra, Garmes has held key positions in both the energy and water sectors. He joined Aqualectra in 2005 as Project Manager Power and has since climbed the ranks, most recently serving as General Manager Power Supply. A Strong Technical and Financial Background
Garmes holds an academic background in technical fields and has also acquired financial expertise. While his primary focus has been in the technical domain, his financial knowledge is essential for understanding and managing the operational budget for Aqualectra’s energy production and distribution.
Following an open application process led by the Supervisory Board, Garmes demonstrated that he was the right candidate to lead Aqualectra’s technical operations. He will officially assume his new role once the formal decision from the Shareholder has been finalized.
