WILLEMSTAD – The Ministry of Public Works (OW) has announced that road maintenance works will begin on Koraalspechtweg starting April 20, 2026. The project is expected to last approximately two weeks.
The work will involve the installation of a sewer pipeline beneath the road, followed by resurfacing. As a result, the road will be closed during the execution of the works. The project is being carried out by Ortela Schoonmaakbedrijf & General Construction.
Residents and businesses in the area will continue to have access to their homes and establishments. However, other motorists who normally use the road will be redirected via alternative routes, which will be clearly indicated with traffic cones and signage.
Public Works is urging all drivers to proceed with caution in and around the work zone.
