WILLEMSTAD – The section of the Weg naar Westpunt between Kloof and Ascencion will remain closed longer than initially planned, according to a statement from the Curaçao Police Force on Wednesday morning.
The closure, originally set to end on Tuesday, has been extended until Friday. During this period, the road will be closed in both directions daily from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
The police are urging motorists to take note of this change and to use alternative routes to reach their destinations.
The extension of the closure is necessary to accommodate ongoing roadworks in the area. Authorities thank the public for their understanding and cooperation during this time.
