WILLEMSTAD - The Rituals store in Zuikertuintje Mall will permanently close its doors on December 31. The Dutch cosmetics company announced this in a statement on Monday, expressing with "a heavy heart" its farewell to customers in Curaçao.
The reason for the closure, according to Rituals, is the decision made by the parent company in the Netherlands to no longer offer franchise opportunities. As a result, the store, which was operated under a franchise by Super Retail Holding, will no longer be able to remain open.

Rituals, a Dutch cosmetics brand with over 900 stores worldwide, has been active in Curaçao for ten years. The brand is known for its luxurious care products, including soaps, body scrubs, and creams with oriental scents, as well as teas, perfumes, and gift items.
After the closure, Rituals products will only be available through Super Retail Holding’s online store or other local retailers.
