WILLEMSTAD - Restoration work on the beaches of Bandabou is ongoing. Playa Santa Cruz has been refurbished, and now work is being done at Kenepa Chikí (Kleine Knip), including the repair of the palapas. 

The next beach on the schedule after Kleine Knip is Kenepa Grandi (Grote Knip), followed by Playa Lagun, Jeremí, and Playa Kalki. 

The Ministry of Public Health has stated that they intend to continue with the beach restorations despite being in the hurricane season, acknowledging the possibility that the beaches may incur further damage. The ministry estimates that all restoration work will take about three weeks to complete.
