WILLEMSTAD - Residents in the Santa Rosa area have had it with the utility company Aqualectra.

From the beginning of this year, there are power outages every day between midnight and two and between 10 and 12 in the morning.

Only during the carnival tumba festival last week there was no power outage. Several residents have now gone public with their frustration through the media, especially the local Papiamento newspaper Extra.

They did this because they have been trying to get a hold of someone at the utility company but to no avail.
