WILLEMSTAD - The Curacao Chinese Union Foundation has asked the Chinese community on the island to stay home for two weeks after a vacation to China.

The spokesperson for the foundation, Mr. Shiktong Chang did this through Curaçao Chronicle Chinese Edition, which is a media group on the popular app WeChat that provides news to almost the entire Chinese community on the island.

Mr. Chan explains that the risk of being infected with the corona virus is not very high, but this is a precaution: most Chinese on the island come from the South of China, Wuhan is in the North.

The foundation provides groceries and other facilities during the two weeks.
