Repatriation flight Venezuela departs later date

WILLEMSTAD - The repatriation flight for Venezuelans has been moved from 16 to 21 February. The reason for the delay is technical problems.

The flight is intended for undocumented migrants who are currently detained in the immigration barracks. But the Justice Department also accommodates Venezuelans who want to return to their own country for whatever reason. A single ticket costs 390 guilders.

Human rights organizations are concerned that Curaçao will also send people back who do not want to because they may be at risk in their own country.
