WILLEMSTAD - Remko Bicentini returns as coach of the Curaçao national team. Earlier, the Federashon Futbol Korsou (FFK), the football federation, announced that it did not renew the contract with Art Langeler and technical director Guus Hiddink.  

Bicentini was ousted as national coach by Hiddink in 2020. He went on to work as an assistant coach with the Canadian national team. The former national coach faced the Curaçao team in the group stage of the CONCACAF Nations League in the game against Canada.  

"After discussions with various candidates with a lot of potential, Bicentini has been chosen as the future coach," said the football association.
