WILLEMSTAD – Kimberly de Boer, the winner of the international Reina Hispanoamericana 2026 competition, paid a visit to the Curaçao Parliament this week.
During her visit to the parliament building in Willemstad, De Boer was received by parliament chairman Fergino Brownbill.
The meeting highlighted De Boer’s recent international achievement. By winning the Reina Hispanoamericana title last month, she placed Curaçao in the international spotlight in a competition where not only appearance but also personality, presentation skills and social engagement play a significant role.

According to officials, De Boer impressed the jury throughout several segments of the competition, particularly with her stage presentation and her responses during interview rounds. Her performance helped leave a strong impression among the participating countries.
The Reina Hispanoamericana pageant is widely regarded as a platform where culture, identity and social issues are highlighted, attracting significant attention throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
De Boer’s victory has been warmly celebrated in Curaçao and widely shared on social media. Her title has brought additional international visibility to the island.
Last Sunday, she was also honored during a public celebration at Brionplein.
