WILLEMSTAD - This week marks the commencement of online registration for participation in various elements of the annual Ride, Walk, Swim & Surf for the Roses on Sunday, January 28. Once again, the Ride for the Roses foundation is organizing this significant event to generate as many funds as possible for the battle against cancer, ensuring comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
On Sunday, January 28, walkers will depart from Brionplein at seven o'clock in the morning in two groups: a five-kilometer route over the Queen Emma Bridge and a 7.8-kilometer route over the Queen Juliana Bridge, both concluding at Mambo Beach/BLVD.
At eight o'clock, various groups of cyclists will set off from Mambo/BLVD for the forty and sixty-kilometer routes, along with the easy ride, all concluding at the same location. At noon, swimmers will start from Zanzibar/Jan Thiel, with competitive swimmers preceding recreational swimmers, finishing at Wet & Wild Beach.
Around the same time, kite and windsurfers, along with wingfoilers from Klein Curaçao, will head towards Wet & Wild Beach. Slightly earlier, at half-past eleven, the Kids Swim will commence from Lions Dive to Wet & Wild.

All registered participants, upon payment of their registration fee, are entitled to a Ride T-shirt and will receive a drink, a piece of fruit, and a rose as a memento upon arrival.
