WILLEMSTAD – On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, Rear Admiral Sardiello of the United States Navy paid an official visit to the Governor of Curaçao, H.E. Lucille George-Wout. The meeting highlighted the continued cooperation between the United States and Curaçao on matters of security and regional collaboration. 

Also present during the visit were Commander Walter Hansen, Commander of the Royal Netherlands Navy in the Caribbean, Mr. Ramon Negron, Acting Consul General of the United States in Curaçao, and Ms. Darryllin van der Veen, Director of the Foreign Relations Department of Curaçao. 

The discussions focused on strengthening partnerships in the region, ongoing joint operations, and shared interests in promoting stability and maritime security throughout the Caribbean.
