WILLEMSTAD - On the weekend of Saturday, December 21, and Sunday, December 22, Randal Corsen & Friends will once again bring the intimate Christmas concert series Home for Christmas to Landhuis Brakkeput Mei Mei. The program features a blend of international Christmas classics and local Caribbean tunes.
For the second year in a row, Home for Christmas replaces the popular Paranda di Fin di Aña. This special anniversary performance will include Corsen’s regular band, featuring Eric Calmes (bass), Josuah Boëtius (guitar), and Rhazul Sebelon (cuarta). Special guests include mezzo-soprano Tania Kross, who captivated audiences last year with her MIL choir, and tenor Michiel René van ’t Landt, known from ARIA and as the winner of the American Protégé Competition.
Other performers include Junior Tecla, Evita Ross, and Yumarya Grijt. Adding a personal touch to the evening, Corsen’s daughters, Christine (16) and Michelle (13), will also take the stage.
