WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Ports Authority has announced that the Queen Emma Bridge will be temporarily out of service due to scheduled maintenance work. The closure will take place from Monday, July 28 at 6:00 AM until Tuesday, July 29 at 2:00 PM.
During this period, ferry services will be available from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM to transport pedestrians between Punda and Otrobanda.
For late-night hours between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM, special buses will operate from the usual ferry docking locations to ensure continued transportation for pedestrians across St. Anna Bay.
The Ports Authority urges the public to plan accordingly and thanks everyone for their understanding as these essential maintenance efforts are carried out to keep the iconic bridge safe and operational.
