WILLEMSTAD – Queen Making Queens Organization, better known as QMQ, has officially opened its 2026 season and announced the start of registrations for its miss and modeling programs. The opening took place in a relaxed and celebratory setting, attended by team members, former queens, participants, and family members.
During the gathering, the organization reflected on 2025, which QMQ described as a strong and successful year. Over the past year, Queen Making Queens increased its visibility within the community, a development the organization attributes to the dedication of its behind-the-scenes team, collaborators, and sponsors who continue to support its mission and believe in the potential of Curaçao’s youth.

QMQ confirmed that its goals and vision remain unchanged for 2026. The organization aims to provide as many young people as possible with local and international training opportunities within the beauty and modeling industry. Its long-term vision is to continue growing as a stable and professional training platform that covers all aspects of the beauty world.
For the new season, QMQ will once again focus on its three core services: Queens Model School, Miss Teenage Curaçao, and participation in international pageants. Registration for Queens Model School and Miss Teenage Curaçao is open from February 1 through February 28, 2026, via the organization’s official social media channels.
Queens Model School offers weekly classes every Saturday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., covering catwalk training, dance, etiquette, and public speaking. The program is open to children and young people between the ages of 5 and 20. This year, QMQ is also introducing a new opportunity for models to travel internationally in July to participate in overseas fashion shows. Participants who register will receive a special invitation to an information evening dedicated to this initiative.
Miss Teenage Curaçao, one of the most popular programs among local youth, will again offer young women aged 14 to 18 the opportunity to take part in a local pageant designed as a life-changing experience. Participants receive training in personal development, both physical and internal, as well as local and international general knowledge. For the 2026 edition, three stage shows are planned. QMQ also marks a milestone this year, as it will crown its fifth Miss Teenage Curaçao while celebrating five years of the pageant’s existence. The theme for this anniversary year is Viva La Quinta, Tropicana Royal. According to the organization, young women with strong character, community involvement, and inner and outer confidence are encouraged to seek more information.
As in the past three years, QMQ will collaborate with three high-level international pageants. The first of these is Teen Universe, scheduled to take place from February 23 to March 2. Thalina Gil, the reigning Miss Teenage Curaçao 2025, is set to represent Curaçao at the competition.
QMQ Organization expressed confidence that 2026 will be another year filled with achievements and success for Curaçao. The organization is inviting young people who are already active in the beauty industry, as well as those interested in exploring it for the first time, to consider this an opportunity to grow and develop.
