WILLEMSTAD - The festive year-end celebration in the heart of Punda kicks off tonight at 7:00 PM. As part of the weekly Punda Thursday Vibes, the Downtown Management Organization, in collaboration with Annabay Rum Club, will host the official Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
The program promises an enchanting evening featuring a visit from Santa Claus and a performance by the Beyentlkids children’s choir. Punda will also be transformed into a nostalgic setting with Back to the 80s performances scattered throughout the district.
For shopping enthusiasts, there’s a special Black Weekend Sale and Shopping Night, with stores staying open late. Visitors can also enjoy delicious food stalls and cocktails at Punda’s restaurants. The festivities offer a blend of ambiance, music, and culinary delights to celebrate the holiday season in style.
