WILLEMSTAD - The tender for major maintenance of the Julianabrug will be awarded "before the end of March". This is a project of two to three years for which the government has estimated approximately 4.3 million guilders.

This was announced by the Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP) Zita Jesus-Leito says. After the choice has been made for the company that has to do the job “the work can start immediately”. The minister says that the railings must be repaired, rust must be removed, and the bridge should be repainted.
