WILLEMSTAD – On February 3, 2026, the Project Team for Supervision and Enforcement (PTH) removed a trailer that had been parked without a valid precario permit along the Carnival route in the Marchena area.
The action followed a report by the Precario Team, which had previously informed the owner of the trailer that the required registration for use of the relevant parcel had not been completed. After this notification, the case was transferred to PTH. PTH then contacted the individual concerned and granted a 24-hour deadline to remove the trailer, warning that failure to do so would result in the trailer being removed at the owner’s expense.

As the owner did not comply with the instructions from either the Precario Team or PTH within the given timeframe, PTH proceeded to remove the trailer at the expense of the owner.
The authorities emphasize that this action serves as a warning to all individuals occupying or using space along the Carnival route to ensure that they have a valid and approved precario permit readily available when inspections are carried out by PTH. In addition, precario permit holders are reminded to strictly adhere to the conditions outlined in their permits. Violations may lead to revocation of the permit and removal from the allocated parcel.
Such violations may also result in ineligibility to obtain a precario permit for Carnival 2027.
The authorities call on the public to cooperate in order to ensure a well-organized and safe Carnival period.
