WILLEMSTAD – The Project Team for Supervision and Enforcement (PTH) has removed vehicles that were illegally parked on prekario parcels belonging to permit holders. The action took place on Sunday, February 15, 2026, after PTH received a notification.
One vehicle was found parked on parcel 329, while the owner was not present. Another vehicle was parked on parcel 1355A, also without the owner on site. Because the owners could not be reached, both vehicles were removed using a crane.
PTH is calling on all motorists, particularly during the carnival period, to respect the clearly marked parking areas reserved for prekario permit holders. By doing so, authorities say, everyone can enjoy the festivities in an orderly and safe manner.
