WILLEMSTAD - Personal Training Curaçao, also known as Urban Gym, has lost the case against Stichting Monumentenzorg Curaçao, which is the Curaçao monument care foundation. The fitness company had leased a building from Monumentenzorg for several years, but was not happy with the physical condition of the building.

They also did not agree with the rent increase. Monumentenzorg stated that they were aware of the condition of the building and simply had to pay their rent. The judge agreed.

The company must pay the rent in arrears, the process costs and also leave the premises within two weeks.
