SANTIAGO DE CUBA – In an official ceremony, the Provincial Government of Popular Power of Santiago de Cuba presented the recognition “With Everyone’s Effort, We Overcome” to Mr. Dr. René Vicente Rosalía for his valuable and unconditional contribution to promoting the culture and identity of Caribbean peoples. 

The decision, based on Act No. 363 dated December 6, 2020, aims to encourage and honor both collective labor organizations and individuals who stand out for their work in the social and economic sphere during challenging times. The award is granted to those who serve as examples through their dedication and commitment to the people and the development of the region. 

Mr. Dr. René Vicente Rosalía, who has maintained a strong relationship of solidarity with Santiago de Cuba for more than 40 years, has consistently shown a deep love for the culture and peoples of the Caribbean. His ongoing contributions have helped strengthen unity and preserve cultural traditions. 

The recognition ceremony took place on July 5, 2025, in Santiago de Cuba, Hero City of the Republic of Cuba, as part of the celebrations marking the 67th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution. 

The Governor of Santiago de Cuba, Mr. Manuel Falcón Hernández, personally presented the distinction, highlighting the human and cultural value of Mr. Dr. René Vicente Rosalía. 

The Stripan Foundation and the Tambú Museum Shon Cola congratulated Mr. Dr. René Vicente Rosalía on receiving this well-deserved honor.
