WILLEMSTAD – Recently, members of the Project Team for Supervision and Enforcement (PTSE) of the Ministry of Traffic, Transportation, and Urban Planning (VVRP), along with additional staff from VVRP, commenced the course entitled 'BAVPOL refresher course.'

The goal of this course is to refresh the knowledge of PTSE members who have previously taken the course to become Extraordinary Agents of Police (BAVPOL) and to provide an opportunity for new members to become BAVPOL. A total of 14 participants have begun, and the course will have a duration of 8 weeks.

This course is part of PTSE's strengthening program to enhance their capabilities in controlling and supervising illegal land occupations, illegal construction, and illegal waste dumping on government-owned land, among other responsibilities.

PTSE has already been taking action against various construction-related issues in different areas around Curaçao and will continue to do so. To get in touch with PTSE and/or report a potential case of illegal construction or land occupation, you can call 465-1477.
