WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP) is working on the implementation of the "Safety in and around the schools" project.
Education and safety are high on the priority list of the population and therefore also on the agenda of the Rhuggenaath Cabinet.
The VVRP has now continued to mark the pedestrian crosswalks around the following schools: the Radulphus College RKCS, the Maria Immaculata Lyceum RKCS, the Mariacollege RKCS and the Public School Kolegio Alejandro Paula / KAP (formerly Peter Stuyvesant College).
A request goes out to everyone to respect the crossing (broad white stripes), popularly known as 'zebra' or 'zebra crossing'. Drivers must stop for pedestrians and drivers of a disabled vehicle who are about to cross the zebra crossing,
Let us continue to build a new nation with respect for each other
