WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas received the Kingdom Ambassador stationed in Washington, Birgitta Tazelaar, and the Consul General of the Kingdom stationed in Miami, Lisette den Breems, on January 15, 2024.

This visit was a courtesy call where the Kingdom Ambassador stationed in Washington and the Consul General of the Kingdom stationed in Miami had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas.
During this visit, information was shared on various topics, including Venezuela, the Refinery, OFAC licenses, the market rating related to the human trafficking and smuggling report, which proposed Curaçao to level 3, the nomination of a representative of Curaçao in Washington, and the relationship and functioning of the office in Washington for handling Curaçao's affairs.
The Ambassador will also visit various other ministers of the Pisas II Cabinet and various government entities during her stay in Curaçao.
The visit will take place from January 14 to January 16, 2024.
