WILLEMSTAD – On Thursday, May 1, 2025, Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas met with the presidents of both chambers of the Dutch Parliament during an official visit to Curaçao.
Pisas and his delegation held separate meetings with Jan Anthonie Bruijn, President of the Eerste Kamer (Dutch Senate), and Martin Bosma, President of the Tweede Kamer (House of Representatives of the Netherlands). The meetings took place in the presence of key parliamentary officials and representatives from the Representation of the Netherlands in Willemstad (VNW).

Accompanying the Dutch parliamentary leaders were Remco Nehmelan (Clerk of the Senate), Fred Bergman (Clerk of the Senate's Committee on Kingdom Relations), Peter Oskam (Clerk of the House of Representatives), and Eva Meijers (Clerk of the House Committee on Kingdom Relations).
Discussions during the meetings focused on several important topics, which are set to be further explored during next week’s visit by a delegation from the Committee on Kingdom Relations to Curaçao.
Following the meetings, the Dutch delegation continued their itinerary with a stop in Bonaire before returning to the Netherlands.
