WILLEMSTAD - The Technical Hygiene Care (THZ) department has started dengue spraying operations in the Otrobanda area as part of a preventive health campaign.
The initiative aims to protect public health by targeting the Aedes aegypti mosquito, the primary carrier of dengue fever. The Ministry of Health, Environment, and Nature (GMN) is urging residents to take additional preventive measures, such as removing standing water around their homes to reduce mosquito breeding sites.
This effort highlights the government's commitment to mitigating the risks of dengue outbreaks and promoting community awareness about mosquito control. Residents are encouraged to cooperate with the spraying schedule and actively participate in maintaining a mosquito-free environment.
