WILLEMSTAD – On Friday, May 2, Mr. Cristan van Emden, Head of Education and Research at the National Committee for 4 and 5 May, together with Ms. Charlotte Rommers, Head of Projects at the National Fund for Peace, Freedom and Veterans (Vfonds), paid a visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout. 

During the visit, the delegation presented the Governor with the latest edition of the “Buki di Pensa”. This educational booklet, which includes a foreword by King Willem-Alexander, explores the meaning of freedom and is distributed by the National Committee as a teaching resource for primary schools in Curaçao. 

The Vfonds continues to support the funding of initiatives that promote freedom within a democratic society.
