WILLEMSTAD - CPA, the Port Service of Curaçao is ready to receive Venezuelan boats again. The border will reopen on April 3, after being closed in 2019 by the order of President Nicolas Maduro.
This means that Venezuelan boats can bring their fish and other products back to the islands. Not only fish but also fruit and vegetables will be brought to the island.
CPA is finishing work on the toilets and showers that are needed. Fruit boats can request berths again through their shipping agency.
