WILLEMSTAD - The political party MAN-PIN has raised alarms over irregularities in the distribution of voting cards. Several citizens have reported not receiving their voting cards, while neighbors on the same street have received theirs. Additionally, there have been reports of voting cards being found on the street or delivered to the wrong recipients' mailboxes.
Political leader Giselle Mc William pointed out that it is normal for people in the same neighborhood to receive their voting cards at the same time. "Why is it different this time? This raises questions," Mc William told Éxtra. One resident reported finding a pile of voting cards in his mailbox that were not intended for him and took to social media to find the rightful owners.
In the Piscaderaweg area, voting cards were found on the street, and according to social media reports, cards have been undelivered or mistakenly placed in incorrect mailboxes elsewhere. "How could this happen? This is concerning," Mc William stated.
MAN-PIN is calling for an investigation into the distribution process of the voting cards. Mc William is seeking clarification from Minister of Administration, Planning, and Public Services Shalten Hato (MFK) and Minister of Traffic, Transport, and Spatial Planning Charles Cooper (MFK) regarding the distribution process and how these issues will be addressed.
