WILLEMSTAD - The police have appealed to the public not to purchase branded clothing from street vendors. There is a high likelihood that these goods are stolen. According to the police, people should not entertain such offers.
The warning was issued yesterday following a violent burglary that took place during the night from Monday to Tuesday at the UpTown store in Punda, where a significant amount of branded clothing, particularly items from the popular brand Psycho Bunny, was stolen. The police specifically mentioned this brand and are urging everyone not to buy stolen items, advising them to inform the police if Psycho Bunny shirts and sweaters are being offered for sale.
