Police Raid in Noord Sta. Rosa Leads to Drug Seizure and Two Arrests

WILLEMSTAD On Monday, under the direction of the Public Prosecution Service (OM), police carried out a raid on a residence in Noord Sta. Rosa, the Curaçao Police Force (KPC) reported in a press release. 

During the operation, officers discovered a supply of marijuana and cocaine, ready for sale, as well as a sum of cash suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking. 

The raid also uncovered theft of water and electricity. Utility company Aqualectra intervened on the spot to address the illegal connections. 

Police arrested a 47-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman at the scene. The man remains in custody, while the woman was released after questioning. 

The investigation is ongoing.
