WILLEMSTAD – Police officers issued 22 fines on Saturday during checks on the beaches of Bándabou. A total of 64 cars were checked. This was announced by the Curaçao Police Force in a press release.
The checks took place on several beaches. For example, inspections were carried out on Cas Abou, Daaibooi, Grote Knip and Kleine Knip and on Playa Lagun.
Officers have fined road users for driving without a driver's license, driving without insurance, invalid inspection card and missing license plates. In addition, four cars were towed away. The reason for this is unknown.
The police said they will continue to check in the near future.
