Police intervene in foreigners’ barracks

WILLEMSTAD - The police was dispatched to the foreigners’ barracks in the Curaçao prison (SDKK) yesterday to suppress unrest. It came about after 29 Venezuelans tried to escape.

The railing had been sawn through, but that was noticed by the guards at SDKK.

According to the police, there was so much commotion afterwards and some of the barracks were destroyed, so the assistant of police officers was immediately requested.
