WILLEMSTAD - Yesterday, the police inspected 74 vehicles and issued 53 fines. The traffic check took place on both Schottegatweg Zuid and Regentesselaan.
The 53 fines were issued in less than an hour and a half. Among the drivers, many motorists had their paperwork not in order, such as not being able to show a driver's license, inspection card, and proof of insurance.
However, there were also drivers or their passengers who were not wearing a seatbelt, ran a red light, or didn't have a license plate at the front of the car.
