WILLEMSTAD - Early this morning, the police dismantled a marijuana plantation in the Fuik area following a raid. A total of 583 marijuana plants were seized. During the operation, a man was arrested, and a firearm was confiscated. The police discovered the plantation after receiving a report of gunshots in the area. 

Upon arrival, police units found a marijuana plantation on the premises of the house in question. They also encountered a man who claimed to be the owner of the plantation. He was arrested for violating drug laws. 

During the continued investigation, the suspect was searched, and a firearm was found and confiscated. The suspect is identified as 42-year-old R.M.P., born in Curaçao.
