WILLEMSTAD - The police are again carrying out major traffic checks. Yesterday the officers were at Helmin Wiels Boulevard, Caracasbaaiweg and other roads.

An as yet unknown number of drivers were fined for not wearing their seatbelts, tinted glass that was too dark and no license plate on the car.

More checks will be carried out in the coming weeks.
