WILLEMSTAD – The Curaçao Police Force (KPC) has arrested a man in connection with a case of attempted murder and assault with a weapon, the force announced in a press release. 

The incident occurred on May 21 on Samanaweg in the Sta. Maria neighborhood. The 42-year-old suspect voluntarily reported to detectives at the Rio Canario police station. 

He has been taken into custody and remains detained pending further investigation.
