WILLEMSTAD – As part of an ongoing investigation into a car theft that occurred on April 26 in the Scharloo area, the police have made an arrest. On Sunday, around 6:00 PM, detectives working on the car theft case apprehended a 37-year-old man. The suspect is a native of the Netherlands. The arrest took place along Weg naar Westpunt, as announced by the police today. 

The suspect was presented to a prosecutor’s assistant, who ordered his detention pending further investigation. 

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident, and the man remains in custody as they gather more information related to the theft.
