WILLEMSTAD - The police on Curaçao have issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying a suspect linked to a series of vehicle thefts in the Noord Sta. Rosa area. In May, authorities investigating the thefts uncovered five vehicles stolen during the months of April and May 2024 from a specific address.
The investigation into these incidents is ongoing, with significant progress leading to the arrest of four individuals connected to the thefts. However, law enforcement officials are now seeking the community's support in identifying a person of interest depicted in several photographs related to the case.
"We urge anyone who may have information pertinent to this investigation to come forward," stated a spokesperson for the investigative team. "Your assistance could prove crucial in resolving this matter."
Citizens are encouraged to contact the investigative team directly at 7246230, 7246236, or 6740068 with any relevant information. The police emphasize that cooperation from the public is essential to ensure a swift and thorough resolution to the case.
"We appreciate the community's cooperation and proactive involvement in helping us maintain safety and security in our neighborhoods," added the spokesperson.
