WILLEMSTAD - The pier of Playa Piskadó is closed. This is reported by the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature (GMN). According to the ministry, it is currently not responsible to let people walk on the pier.
The pier has been so badly damaged by the bad weather and rough seas of the past period that it can no longer be used. GMN immediately closed the pier on the beach in Westpunt and asked the Agricultural and Fisheries Management department to make an inventory of the conditions of the other piers.
The ministry is going to repair the pier at Playa Piskadó, so that it can be used again as soon as possible. GMN apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
