WILLEMSTAD - On Thursday, March 9, 2023, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to UNESCO in Paris, Ambassador Monique van Daalen and her deputy Mrs. Carolien Schrijvershof, paid an introductory visit to the Governor of Curaçao H.E. Lucille George Wout. The Ambassador and her deputy were accompanied during the visit by the Secretary General for UNESCO in Curaçao, Mrs. Marva Browne.
During this visit, the Governor offered a view of part of the historic inner city of Willemstad to the Permanent Representative. This has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage since 1997.
