WILLEMSTAD - The Pen Resort on the Penstraat in Pietermaai has applied for the installation of a coastal barrier. This was announced by Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning Charles Cooper by means of an official announcement.
The plan will be available for inspection at the Ministry for the next ten days. People who want to give their opinion on the plan can do so during this period. They can do this by e-mail or a letter to the ministry.
The all-inclusive resort, with a total of 300 rooms, aims to open its doors in 2025. There will be employment for about 350 people, and the hotel will mainly focus on North American tourists.
